Families Outside’s next CPD-accredited training for professionals takes place on Wednesday 17 September 2025, 9:30am – 12:30pm, via Microsoft Teams. “The Impact of Imprisonment on Children and Families” is suitable for professionals from any sector who want to feel more confident when supporting families affected by imprisonment in their own role. Places are priced at £55 per person per session.

Side by Side After Suicide is a free event taking place on Saturday 6 September 2025 at Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh, offering a compassionate and inclusive space for anyone bereaved by suicide. Organised by Suicide Prevention Scotland, the day will bring people together to commemorate loved ones, share experiences, and learn about supportive projects and networks.
ERSA Scotland Free Economic Inactivity Event
Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) Scotland is holding a free in-person event in Glasgow, focusing on economic inactivity and ERSA’s influencing work ahead of the 2026 Holyrood elections. Braveheart Top Toes Toenail Clipping Service
Braveheart Top Toes offers a toenail clipping service for those no longer able to cut their own toenails, with NHS Podiatry trained volunteers and clinics in: Falkirk, Bo’ness, Bonnybridge, Polmont, Stirling, and Clackmannanshire. First appointments are £30, where each client is provided with their own personal clipper pack.

Fat Beehive Foundation: Funding to Improve Online Presence
UK charities can apply for funding of up to £2,500 through the Fat Beehive Foundation, to enhance their online digital presence and expand their reach. The funding is available to charities with an average annual income of less than £1 million, to support digital expenditures which may not be covered by other funding. The closing date for the next round of applications is 5pm on Tuesday 30 September 2025.
