Applications are now open for Scottish Government’s Changing Places Toilets Scotland Fund, which will provide £10 million over 2 years to increase the number of fully accessible toilet facilities across the country. There are currently 9 Changing Places Toilets across Falkirk District. Applications close at 12pm on Monday 20 October 2025.

CARES Community Energy Generation Growth Fund
The second round of Scottish Government’s CARES Community Energy Generation Growth Fund is now open for applications. The fund helps community organisations to develop their own renewable energy projects, including wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The fund can help community organisations with grant funding, advice, and loan funding to progress their renewable energy projects. The fund will close to applications on Monday 8 September 2025.

Call for Views: Commissioner for Older People in Scotland
The Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee at Scottish Parliament is seeking views on a new Bill aiming to establish a Commissioner for Older People in Scotland. Responses will then inform the Committee’s scrutiny. The deadline for responses is Friday 12 September 2025; responses are welcomed in any language.
Outdoor Gazebo Available for Sale to Local Sector
The now disbanded Falkirk & Community Safety Panel has an unused heavy duty steel framed gazebo with windowed side walls, which its committee wishes to sell to another third sector or community group or organisation who can make use of it. The cost would be £100 for the gazebo.

House of Hormones Edinburgh Fringe Event
