The British Ecological Society (BES) offers Outreach and Engagement Grants to support independent activities designed to connect public audiences with the relevance, excitement and real‑world impact of ecological science. The grants encourage high‑quality public engagement and science communication which increases understanding of how ecology informs solutions to local and global environmental challenges. Grants of up to £2,000 are available for capital or revenue costs; the deadline for applications is Tuesday 8 September 2026.
Idlewild Trust Grants
The Idlewild Trust is an independent grant‑making trust supporting charitable activity across two funding streams: the arts, and the conservation of cultural heritage. Grants of up to £8,000 are available. The deadline for applications is 12pm on Friday 4 September 2026.
2026 Healthy Heart Scotland Grant
Heart Research UK has announced the launch of its 2026 Healthy Heart Grant for Scotland, offering up to £15,000 per project to support innovative, community-led projects which promote heart health and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 8 July 2026.
Falkirk Council Community Benefit Requests
Falkirk Council’s Community Benefit Requests process provides an opportunity for local community groups, charities and third sector organisations to access practical support from contractors linked to council‑awarded contracts. The Community Benefit Request process will open to applications at 12:30pm on Monday 15 June 2026.
Edinburgh Airport Community Fund
The Edinburgh Airport Community Fund supports local communities by providing grants to community groups and charities improving opportunities, facilities, and services for local people. Organisations based in Falkirk (FK1, FK2, and FK3 only) can apply. Priority will be given to projects aligning with the airport’s Greater Good sustainability strategy. Grants of up to £7,000 are available, with £140,000 awarded annually. The next deadline is 11:59pm on Thursday 13 August 2026
Henry Smith Foundation Early Years Parenting Fund
The Henry Smith Foundation’s Early Years Parenting Fund is now open for Expressions of Interest. The fund provides £56,250 per year over four years (a total of £225,000) and can be used towards general running costs. The fund is designed to offer flexible, long‑term support for organisations delivering sustained, face‑to‑face early years parenting work across the UK. Expressions of Interest close at 5pm on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
Foundation Scotland Social Investment Hour Online Drop-in
Taking place via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 16 June 2026, 11am – 12:30pm, Foundation Scotland’s “Social Investment Hour” is designed to offer an informal opportunity to explore options and ask questions around social investment, in a supportive setting.
Robertson Trust Wee Grant Falkirk Information Session
CVS Falkirk & District, in partnership with Falkirk Council, has organised an information session with The Robertson Trust, where members from the Trust’s team will deliver a presentation on its Wee Grant. Taking place on Wednesday 17 June 2026, 10:30am – 12:30pm, at Falkirk Library, Hope Street, Falkirk, FK1 5AU, the session will provide attendees with an opportunity to hear directly from The Robertson Trust and ask the team questions about the Wee Grant. Booking is essential, and must be done no later than 12pm on Friday 12 June 2026.
Hugo Burge Foundation Creative Communities Fund
The Hugo Burge Foundation’s Creative Communities Fund supports organisations, festivals, fairs, and community groups delivering culture and creative arts initiatives across the UK. The Fund is particularly focused on activity which enables people to engage as active participants, rather than passive audience members, supporting regular involvement in creative and cultural activities within local communities. Applications are due to reopen this coming Monday 1 June 2026, closing again on Friday 31 July 2026.
