The UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport has launched a call for evidence on the future of National Lottery good cause funding.

This includes an online survey to gather people’s views on how the funding generated by the National Lottery can better align with modern priorities, reach the areas where it is needed most, and how to reduce bureaucracy around accessing the funding. Responses will be used to understand what people’s priorities are for Lottery funding, its biggest successes and how these can be protected, and any areas which can be improved further. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and is open to responses from individuals and organisations across the UK.

The deadline for responses is 12pm on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
