The Grocers’ Charity is inviting applications from UK registered charities to its next funding round, offering one‑off grants to support work which makes a meaningful difference across a broad range of community and social issues. With a particular focus on small‑to‑medium charities, the programme aims to strengthen organisations working at grassroots level and supporting people most in need. The Fund reopens on Monday 30 March, and the next deadline for applications is Tuesday 1 September 2026.

Third sector organisations supporting children, young people and families are invited to apply for Scottish Government’s Whole Family Support Third Sector Delivery Fund. The £20 million fund supports projects which provide holistic, preventative support to families, helping them access the right help earlier and improving outcomes for children and young people. The application deadline is 11:59pm on Thursday 7 May 2026.

Arts charities across Scotland can now apply to the William Syson Foundation’s Small Grants Fund, which is inviting applications for its latest round of funding. The programme supports a broad spectrum of artistic practice, offering flexible, unrestricted grants of up to £5,000 to help strengthen creativity, participation, and cultural engagement within Scottish communities. The deadline for applications to the current round is 12pm on Friday 3 April 2026.

Big Issue Invest (BII) is a dedicated social investment venture created to strengthen Scotland’s social enterprise landscape. Building on the ethos of The Big Issue magazine – supporting people to help themselves – BII provides flexible loan finance to organisations delivering business‑focused solutions to social challenges. Their mission is to connect investment with expertise, enabling organisations to grow, innovate and improve the lives of people across Scotland.

The Bank of Scotland Foundation’s Energise grants programme provides unrestricted funding to Scottish charities supporting vulnerable people. Funding can be used for core, capital, delivery, project, or general running costs, offering flexibility to respond quickly to organisational needs. The fund opens for applications on Monday 23 March 2026, and closes on Wednesday 1 April 2026.

The Fat Beehive Foundation provides small grants to UK charities to help improve their digital presence. This includes support for building websites and apps, digitising services, and purchasing digital products. The fund is particularly aimed at helping charities with limited resources, especially those supporting traditionally hard-to-fund groups such as prisoners, refugees, or disadvantaged youth. Grants of up to £2,500 are available. The next closing date (for the April meeting) is 5pm on Tuesday 31 March 2026.

Registration for The Fore’s Summer 2026 Funding Round will open at 12pm on Wednesday 25 March 2026 for one week until 12pm on Wednesday 1 April 2026.

The Lintel Trust has recently reopened its Small Grant Fund to help community organisations address housing challenges. The Trust is offering grants of £500 or £1,000 to support local projects which improve people’s lives in social housing communities. These grants are specifically designed to fund initiatives making a real difference, such as helping residents stay connected, learn digital skills, and maintain their independence. There are four application deadlines in 2026, with the next application deadline on Wednesday 29 April 2026.

The Woodroffe Benton Foundation has opened its latest Small Grants Programme, offering one‑off awards ranging from £500 – £2,500 to support charitable work across the UK. This programme provides funding to UK registered charities which can demonstrate clear charitable objectives, and at least two years of operational history. Eligible organisations must also have an annual income below £750,000 and be able to supply a full set of accounts. Applications will close on Tuesday 31 March 2026, although the round may close earlier if the Foundation receives 150 applications; as a result, early submission is strongly advised.
