The Cycle Access Fund, delivered by Cycling UK, provides grants to help organisations improve access to bikes and cycling opportunities; tackle barriers to cycling; reduce inequalities; and support healthier, more sustainable travel.

Funding is available through five strands: Individual Bike Ownership; Shared Use; Recycle; Repair; and Cycle Parking and Storage. This can include support for bike libraries, cycle loan schemes, bike refurbishment projects, cycle repairs and cycle storage facilities.

Eligible applicants include community groups, charities, CICs, housing associations, schools, colleges and other constituted organisations operating in eligible areas of Scotland, including Falkirk and Clackmannanshire.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year, with funding available until allocated budgets have been distributed. All successful applications must be approved and funds distributed by 31 March 2027.
