The Edinburgh Airport Community Fund provides financial support to community groups and charities working to improve opportunities, facilities and services for local people. Offering grants of up to £7,000, the fund was established to ensure communities share in the success of Scotland’s busiest airport and supports projects that create a lasting positive impact.
Applications are open to non-profit organisations, including Charities, Community Councils, Local School Groups and Community Interest Companies (CICs), across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and Falkirk (FK1, FK2 and FK3). Priority is given to projects that benefit communities closest to the airport or those most affected by airport operations.
Projects should align with one or more of the four pillars of Edinburgh Airport’s Greater Good Sustainability Strategy: Zero Carbon; Enhancing Scotland; Scotland’s Best Business; and Trusted Neighbour.
Funded activities could include climate action projects, biodiversity initiatives, community development, employability support, services for vulnerable groups and targeted support for people affected by the cost-of-living crisis.
Applications for the current funding round close on 13 November 2026.
