The Lintel Trust Small Grant Fund is currently open for applications, looking to support impactful projects which drive real change where it is needed most, and address housing challenges. The Trust is offering grants of £500 or £1,000 to support local projects which improve people’s lives in social housing communities. These grants are specifically designed to fund initiatives which make a real difference, such as helping residents stay connected, learn digital skills, and maintain their independence. There are four application deadlines in 2026, with the next closing date on Wednesday 12 August 2026.

Triangle Trust Young Women and Girls Funding
The Triangle Trust supports organisations working with vulnerable people, and is currently focusing on improving outcomes for young women and girls affected by offending, exploitation and related disadvantage. Trustees are looking to fund projects which are focused on young women and girls who already have a history of offending, or who are at high risk of registering a first offence. The deadline for submitting an EOI form is Thursday 21 May 2026.

Action Earth 2026 Grants
Volunteering Matters’ Action Earth 2026 is now open for applications. Action Earth has small grants of up to £250 for volunteer groups across Scotland in urban areas, or near population centres, who are boosting biodiversity through planting and habitat builds. This could include creating or improving community gardens, shared greenspaces, wildflower meadows, local ponds, community woodlands and other wildlife homes.
Take a Break Scotland Grant Programme
The Take a Break Scotland grant programme is now open for 2026 applications. Take a Break provides cash grants to parent carers (including eligible kinship carers) of disabled and seriously ill children and young people, from birth up to 17 years old. Grants can be used to contribute towards activities such as day trips, a short break away, an additional carer, travel costs, gardening, or home entertainment equipment, amongst others. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 22 June 2026.
LandAid Young Futures Fund
The LandAid Young Futures Fund is now open for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from organisations supporting young people aged 16 – 25 years old who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. The fund focuses on projects across the UK which increase access to safe, secure, and affordable housing, alongside the practical support to help young people maintain tenancies, manage their homes, and move towards independent living. The deadline for submitting an EOI is Friday 22 May 2026.
SIS Community Finance Fund
The Community Finance Fund is Social Investment Scotland’s (SIS) core loan programme, offering flexible and affordable finance to charities and social enterprises across Scotland. It is designed to support organisations which are creating positive social impact, and are ready to take on repayable finance to strengthen and grow their operations. Applications are welcomed at any time.
The Swire Charitable Trust Grants
The Swire Charitable Trust provides grant funding to support charitable organisations delivering meaningful and lasting benefit to communities across the UK. The Trust’s funding operates on a rolling basis with no deadlines. Applications are considered at regular meetings, with decisions usually made within 2 – 3 months of submission.
Holiday Hunger Grants from Cash for Kids
Holiday Hunger Grants of £1,000 – £3,000 from Cash for Kids are available to organisations and service providers working with children and young people 18 years old and under, who are experiencing disadvantage due to poverty, the rising cost of living, and food insecurity. Applications reopen on Friday 1 May 2026, closing on Friday 22 May 2026.
Aldi Scottish Sport Fund
Applications are now open for the Aldi Scottish Sport Fund within Central Scotland (postcode areas FK & ML). Grants of up to £2,500 are available to charities, schools and other organisations in Scotland which run sporting activities for the benefit of the local communities. The closing date for applications is Sunday 10 May 2026.
