The Edinburgh Airport Community Fund supports local communities by providing grants to community groups and charities improving opportunities, facilities, and services for local people.
Organisations based in Falkirk (FK1, FK2, and FK3 only) can apply. Priority will be given to projects aligning with the airport’s Greater Good sustainability strategy (linked for your convenience):
- Zero Carbon
- Enhancing Scotland
- Scotland’s Best Business
- Trusted Neighbour
Applicants should familiarise themselves with the sustainability strategy before beginning their application.
Funded activity may include climate change mitigation, reducing environmental impacts, biodiversity and rewilding projects, strengthening local community and business partnerships, improving skills and employment opportunities, and supporting vulnerable groups, including cost-of-living crisis responses.
Grants of up to £7,000 are available, with £140,000 awarded annually. Please note that staff salaries, equipment, travel, and general running costs are excluded.
The next deadline is 11:59pm on Thursday 13 August 2026, ahead of the August funding meeting. Applications must be submitted online.
