Falkirk Council has announced the latest phase of the Community Choices programme, which opens for new project idea submissions on Thursday 1 October 2026.
Third sector charities and community groups can apply for up to £5,000 in funding to deliver projects and activities within one of Falkirk District’s nine electoral wards. Falkirk District residents, aged 16 years old and over, can then vote for the projects they would most like to see funded in the ward where they live.
Previous successful projects have supported a wide range of community-led activities, including youth and sports programmes, arts and cultural projects, mental health and wellbeing initiatives, support services for older people, and projects which help people connect, participate, and take pride in their local community.
Drop-in sessions are also being held on Monday 28 September, 3:30pm – 7pm at Falkirk Library, and online on Thursday 8 October 2026, 12pm – 1:30pm.
The closing date for applications is Monday 9 November 2026.
