The Fundraising Regulator has launched a new Code of Fundraising Practice, which will come into effect on Saturday 1 November 2025. It aims to be clearer and easier to navigate for the third sector, fundraisers, and members of the public, while delivering a proportionate approach to regulation through a principles-based format. A 6 month transition period will be in place, to give those involved time to familiarise themselves with the new code and update internal procedures.
