We are pleased to host this event in partnership with Third Sector Human Rights and Equalities (THRE). THRE develops resources, training and networks to support third sector organisations towards taking a human rights and equalities first approach to their organisational development and delivery. You can find out more about THRE via their website (linked for your convenience).
During the forum meeting, THRE will introduce the principles of a human rights and equalities first approach, and share how these can be effectively integrated into organisational structures and community work.
We are also delighted to welcome contributions from local organisations with lived experience of human rights and equalities, or who have successfully embedded these approaches in their services. Guest speakers include representatives from LGBT Youth Scotland and RISE (Racial Inclusion Supporting Empowerment) Forth Valley (formerly Al Massar).
