The Forth Valley-wide Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategic Planning Group is calling on local residents, service users, and stakeholders to share their views on the draft Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategic Commissioning Plan (SCP), via an online survey (linked for your convenience).
The survey aims to be an opportunity to help shape the vision and delivery of mental health and wellbeing services across Forth Valley. Feedback collected will play a key role in the development of a new SCP, ensuring that future services are effective, inclusive, and work for everyone.
The planning group has aligned the draft SCP with Scottish Government’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, published in June 2023. This national strategy is built on 3 core pillars:
- Prevention: tackling the root causes of poor mental health and preventing issues from arising or worsening
- Promotion: encouraging positive mental health across all communities while addressing stigma and discrimination
- Provision: ensuring that individuals can access the right care and support at the right time, in the right place, with a person-centred approach
A copy of the draft plan is also available to view or download as a pdf. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete; the deadline for responses is Tuesday 3 June 2025.
To submit your response, please visit the online survey.
