The Living Wage Foundation, and its movements across the UK (including the Living Wage Scotland campaign), has launched its refreshed branding this week.
Over the past year, they have consulted with those signed up to the movement, and listened to their thoughts on the strength and direction of the brand, which includes the Living Hours and Living Pension campaigns.
The brand changes include some necessary updates to colours and fonts for accessibility reasons. This aims to build on the recognition, align with the Living Wage movement’s core purpose and mission, and ensure that the logos are now fully accessible and future-proofed.
Accredited Living Wage employers should now download their updated logo, and update the logo across their digital platforms. However, there is no expectation to update physical logos straight away. The Living Wage Foundation suggests organisations take time to consider where this may be necessary, and speak to them if support is needed.
For those who are unable to change from the original Living Wage Employer logo, both logos have intentionally been kept extremely similar. The aim is that whichever logo version is used, the brand recognition remains. However, newly accredited employers will only be issued with new branded Living Wage Employer logos going forwards.
