The Trust’s funding operates on a rolling basis with no deadlines. Applications are considered at regular meetings, with decisions usually made within 2 – 3 months of submission.

Holiday Hunger Grants from Cash for Kids
Holiday Hunger Grants of £1,000 – £3,000 from Cash for Kids are available to organisations and service providers working with children and young people 18 years old and under, who are experiencing disadvantage due to poverty, the rising cost of living, and food insecurity. Applications reopen on Friday 1 May 2026, closing on Friday 22 May 2026.
Aldi Scottish Sport Fund
Applications are now open for the Aldi Scottish Sport Fund within Central Scotland (postcode areas FK & ML). Grants of up to £2,500 are available to charities, schools and other organisations in Scotland which run sporting activities for the benefit of the local communities. The closing date for applications is Sunday 10 May 2026.
Vacant Premises Improvement Grant for Third Sector
The Vacant Premises Improvement Grant for Third Sector is a grant scheme aimed at supporting new and existing, formally registered, third sector groups (with fewer than 250 employees) located within Falkirk District’s town centres. The fund is designed to help address the issue of vacant town centre unit space (priority will be given to ground floor units), stimulate new start up activity, and support third sector expansion.

“Grief in Older Age” is Cruse Scotland’s new training course designed to explore how grief manifests in later life, why it is often misunderstood, and how to respond with empathy, respect, and practical support.
SCCR Mediator and Mediation Skills Training Now Available
Cyrenians’ Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution’s (SCCR) “Mediator & Mediation Skills Training” is now available – an online, Scottish Mediation–accredited course offering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for third sector professionals and volunteers. Delivered online via Zoom (with joining details sent a few days prior to course start date), this course will take place over 4 days on Monday 11 May 2026, Tuesday 12 May 2026, Tuesday 19 May 2026, Tuesday 26 May 2026, with an assessment meeting on Tuesday 2 June 2026. Places are £630 (plus VAT) for the third sector and students.
Room Hire Available at Cyrenians’ Arnotdale House
Cyrenians’ Arnotdale House offers a range of rooms for hire, for team meetings, training sessions, community events, and group activities, amongst others. Based in Dollar Park, Cyrenians aim to offer a calming environment, with many different rooms to available. There are multiple meeting spaces, fixed and flexible, as well as cosy meeting rooms fitting 2 – 8 people, and a newly refurbished computer suite.
Scottish Men’s Shed of the Years Awards: Nominations Open
Applications are now open for the Scottish Men’s Shed of the Year Awards. Led by the Scottish Men’s Sheds Association (SMSA), the awards recognise and reward the contribution and impact Men’s Sheds make to society, telling the story to raise awareness of the benefits of Sheds to men, their family and friends, and the community as a whole. The deadline for applications is 12pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026.
