As part of their “Creating Hope with Peer Support” project, the Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) is looking to meet with community-based groups who support people affected by suicide. They are holding free online information sessions on the project, taking place on Tuesday 16th May and Wednesday 17th May, where third sector groups in Scotland can find out more.

ALLIANCE Cost of Living Organisational Members Survey
The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland’s (the ALLIANCE) “Cost of Living – Organisational Members Online Survey” closes to new responses next Sunday 23rd April. The survey is open to the ALLIANCE’s organisational members, and is designed to gather views and experiences on how they have been impacted by the cost of living crisis.

Sporting Chance Course: Open for Referrals
LinkLiving has launched their new course, “Sporting Chance”, which is open to young people in the Falkirk District, aged 16 – 25 years old. Funded by the Falkirk Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, Sporting Chance is an 8-week program running every Thursday and Friday (10am – 3pm), beginning on Thursday 15th June. Lunch is provided, and bus travel vouchers are available.

Net Zero Sense of Place in Grangemouth: Discussion Events
Researchers from the University of Exeter are currently working on a UKRI-funded research project, “Net Zero Sense of Place”. They will be holding group discussions in Grangemouth, on Wednesday 26th April, 6:30pm – 9pm, and Thursday 27th April, 10am – 12:30pm, where local residents are invited to discuss their feelings about the town, their thoughts about reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and their relations with the petrochemical industry in the area.
