CashBack for Communities is launching a new funding phase (running April 2026–March 2029) with up to £26 million to support young people aged 10 – 25 years old across Scotland. Registration is now open for online sessions with detailed guidance on the application process. The next webinars take place on Wednesday 28 May 2025, 10am – 11am, and Tuesday 3 June 2025, 6pm – 7pm.

VSCSF June 2025 Meeting
CVS Falkirk & District invites third sector staff and volunteers to the next Voluntary Sector Children’s Services Forum (VSCSF) on Wednesday 11 June 2025, 2pm – 4pm via Microsoft Teams. This session will focus on reflecting and discussing the results of the “How Good is Our Third Sector Participation in Children’s Services Planning?” survey, conducted by Children in Scotland’s Supporting the Third Sector (STTS) Project.
Carers’ Week 2025
Running Monday 9 June 2025 – Sunday 15 June 2025, Carers’ Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. The campaign also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities, to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
Poverty Alliance Member Seminar: Rural and Islands
The Poverty Alliance is organising a series of member seminars to discuss Scotland’s next Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan, including an online seminar on Wednesday 4 June 2025, 2pm – 4pm, focusing on rural and island communities in Scotland.
Scottish Women’s Budget Group Annual Survey
The Scottish Women’s Budget Group (SWBG) has just launched its fourth women’s survey. This annual survey aims to provide an opportunity for women in Scotland to share their views on public spending and how it affects their lives. This year, it focuses on 3 key topics: Women’s Financial Situation; Fresh Food and Health; Council Tax. Surveys must be completed before Saturday 31 May 2025.
NHS Forth Valley Focus on Preventing Type 2 Diabetes
The NHS Forth Valley Type 2 Diabetes Prevention team aims to reduce the number of people developing type 2 diabetes, through early intervention, personalised support, and community partnerships. They are keen to let more people within local communities be informed about the various services and support they offer.

One Parent Families Scotland (OPFS) has launched their Walking Wednesdays group, offering parents and carers the opportunity to get outdoors and chat with others.
Forth Valley Sensory Centre Summer Garden Party
Forth Valley Sensory Centre is holding their annual summer event on Friday 18 July 2025. Taking place 11am – 2pm at the Centre in Redbrae Road, Camelon, FK1 4DD, this year’s Garden Party will be raising funds for the Centre and their activities, and aims to bring the local community together for some fun, games and awareness raising, with stalls, prizes, and a Lego Dinosaur Trail and themed gifts. While the event is free to enter, picnic tickets are £4 per person.

Free Digital Skills Online Workshops for Third Sector
The Curve is a series of free, 90 minute online workshops for third sector organisations, run by Third Sector Lab. These online workshops aim to build knowledge around best digital practices, raise awareness of digital tools and ultimately help increase impact with digital. Workshops are open to anyone working or volunteering with a third sector organisation in the UK.
