The Citizens’ Rights Project, together with GamCare, is holding an online webinar on “Gambling Harm Support for Migrant Communities” on Wednesday 18 June 2025, from 5:30pm via Zoom. This free webinar is designed for individuals from migrant communities who struggle with gambling addiction, as well as those who are affected by the gambling addiction of their loved ones.

Refugee Career Fair
Forth Valley Welcome is holding a Refugee Career Fair for New Scots in Falkirk District, Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire. The fair will take place Wednesday 18 June 2025, 11am – 1:30pm, at the Holy Trinity Church Hall, Albert Place, Stirling, FK8 2RG, and is aimed at New Scots looking for work, training or to get involved with volunteering. Entry is free, though booking is required, and tea, coffee and light snacks will be provided.

Charity Law Changes: Charity Trustees Information to be Submitted and Published
The Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) has announced that from Monday 30 June 2025, all Scottish charities will be required to begin submitting detailed trustee information through the OSCR Online portal. This change is part of the Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Act 2023.

Changes to Microsoft Non-Profit Licence Grants from July 2025
Microsoft has announced upcoming changes to its non-profit licence grants, which will take effect from Tuesday 1 July 2025. These changes will impact organisations currently using the free Microsoft 365 Business Premium or Office 365 E1 licences. From this date, these free licences will no longer be available, and on the next renewal, they will automatically convert to paid Business Premium licences at a cost of £4.20 per user per month. These changes apply only to free grant licences. Paid licences are not affected.
SIS Launches New Action Plan
To help guide the next phase of their 10 year “Building an Impact Economy” strategy, Social Investment Scotland (SIS) has launched their new action plan for 2025 – 2027. The new plan has been shaped by current challenges faced by social enterprises, and the wider third sector and communities they support, along with the progress made since the strategy’s launch in 2020.
Women’s Health Community Fund
Women’s Health Community Fund is a grant programme supporting grassroots organisations and community groups across the UK. The fund offers grants of up to £5,000 for projects which improve education, information, or support around menstrual health, menopause, and related gynaecological conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and fibroids. The deadline for applications is Sunday 15 June 2025.
