Falkirk Delivers has launched Mrs Claus’ Living Room, a FREE story-time event taking place every weekend until Friday 23rd December at the Seagull Trust Cruises Bookshop, 47 High Street, Falkirk, FK1 1ES.

In partnership with Falkirk Delivers, Santa’s Grotto will be at the Food Court in the Howgate Shopping Centre, High Street, Falkirk, FK1 1HG every weekend until Christmas. Tickets are £4 per child and includes a gift for each child. There will also be Christmas Markets each Saturday (Saturday 3rd December – Saturday 17th December).

NHS Forth Valley’s Health Promotion Service is looking for community venues in Falkirk where they could offer an in-person Stop Smoking Clinic.

Our team and partners have been in touch with community food providers throughout the Falkirk area to learn who will be providing food or festive hampers, or running appeals, for those struggling over the festive period.

Different support is available to help third sector organisations, and people within our local communities, with their energy costs.

dates-n-mates Falkirk is holding their Christmas Party on Thursday 8th December, 7pm – 10pm, at Reddingmuirhead Community Hall, Shieldhill Road, Reddingmuirhead, FK2 0DT. There will be live music, a buffet, and a raffle, with a “bring your own bottle” system. The event is open to everyone, with tickets £8 for members, and £10 for non-members; tickets must be booked in advance.

NHS Forth Valley and Home Energy Scotland (HES) is holding a free one hour online information session, “Save Energy in the Home”, on Tuesday 6th December, 2pm – 3pm, via Teams. The information session will be delivered by Malcolm Eakin and Mathew Folan from HES, who will be speaking about what support is available from HES.

The Friends of Inchyra Park group is holding its 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday 5th December from 7pm at the Old Dundas Primary School, Oxgang Road, Grangemouth, FK3 9EF.

Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) Forth Valley’s “First Time for Everything” Project is holding a number of festive and winter activities over the coming months, including: Christmas Ceilidh on Saturday 3rd December, 7pm – 10pm, Cracking Christmas Digital Skills event at St Ninians Library, Stirling on Thursday 8th December, 10am – 12pm, and Stargazing at the Stirling Highland Hotel Observatory, Wednesday 11th January 2023, 7pm – 8pm. They are also running a Yarn Bombing Project with the NHS Forth Valley Health Promotion Team.
