LGBT Youth Scotland Latest Programmes
LGBT Youth Scotland (LGBTYS) has released information on their latest programmes for LGBTQ+ young people, including Lavender Lives Part 2 (with Creative Stirling, aiming to provide a range of fun creative learning activities, and opportunities to be involved with developing a potential Forth Valley Pride 2024), and (Un)Seen, (Un)Heard (a social history project aiming to capture and celebrate LGBTQ+ young people’s experience, through all forms of art, writing, audio, film).
Rainbow Muslim Women’s Group Fundraising Dinner
Working with the World Care Foundation, Rainbow Muslim Women’s Group has organised a fundraising dinner to help post-conflict support for families affected or displaced by the current war in Gaza. The dinner will take place on Sunday 17th December from 6pm at the MacDonald Incyhra Hotel. Tickets are £25 each (£20 for children aged 3 – 10 years old).

dates-n-mates Falkirk’s Christmas Party takes place on Friday 8th December, 7pm – 10pm at Bonnybridge Golf Club, Larbert Road, Bonnybridge, FK4 1NY. The party is open to non-members, but is an over-18 event. There will be music and dancing, a raffle, and festive treats, along with a few surprises.
Braveheart Men’s Café Launch
The Braveheart Association is launching a new Men’s Café, with the first date taking place on Wednesday 6th December, 1:30pm – 3:30pm at the Braveheart Connections Hub in the Howgate Shopping Centre, High Street, Falkirk, FK1 1HG. The café offers men a free opportunity to meet up in a social space for tea, chat and board games. There is no need to book.

Child Protection Scotland’s new cost of living campaign encourages any parent or carer who is struggling to look after their children, to ask for help before reaching crisis point. The “It’s Okay To Ask” digital campaign is aimed specifically at parents and carers, with 3 short animated adverts.
