FDAMH COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills Course
Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH) is now accepting applications for their 2024 COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills course. There are 2 courses available, one via Zoom (beginning in January for 7 months), and one in-person (beginning in March for 4 months). Places for both the Zoom and in-person course are £1,300 per participant; payment plans are available.
Dementia Friendly Singing Session
The Freedom Of Mind Community Choir is holding a free dementia friendly singing sessions Wednesday 20th December, 2:30pm – 4:30pm in Camelon Parish Church Hall, Camelon. The session will include singing well-known songs, and is free to access, with refreshments provided halfway through the session.
Pause & Breathe Christmas Party
Pause & Breathe CIC is hosting a drop-in Christmas Party on Friday 15th December, 11:30am – 2pm. Everyone is welcome at the party, which will take place at The Place to Pause & Breathe, 83 Broomhill Road, Bonnybridge, FK4 2AT, featuring festive food, Christmas crafts and games, along with a raffle. The event is free, though raffle tickets will need to be bought.
LGBTYS Comic Book Course: Bookings Closing Soon
Bookings for LGBT Youth Scotland’s first Comic Book Course day close on Friday 8th December. Part of their Lavender Lives activities with Creative Stirling, the first day of the Comic Book Course takes place on Saturday 16th December, 12pm – 5pm.

As part of our 40th birthday celebrations, we’re delighted to announce the date for our 2024 Falkirk Funders Fayre! This year’s event will be the 10th anniversary, tying in wonderfully with our birthday year. Taking place on Tuesday 19th March 2024, this FREE event is designed to give third sector, charity and voluntary organisations and social enterprises the opportunity to meet with a range of diverse funders, and to learn about the various grant funding schemes that are available.

The Fore Spring 2024 Funding Round Opening for Registrations
The Fore’s Spring 2024 Funding Round is opening for registrations at 12pm on Wednesday 6th December for one week. The Fore offers unrestricted grants of up to £30,000 to help registered charities and certain social enterprises grow, strengthen, and become more efficient or resilient, based around asking applicants what they need in order to create a transformational impact.
