Equally Safe Falkirk 16 Days of Action Open Day
Equally Safe Falkirk is holding an open day on Wednesday 29th November, 11:30am – 2pm at Watling Lodge, Tamfourhill Road, Tamfourhill, FK1 4RE, as part of their 16 Days of Action activities. The Equally Safe Falkirk Participation Group, made up of survivors who have been supported by ESF, has designed the open day event to share some key messages about the service.
Falkirk LDP Play Sufficiency Assessment Survey
Falkirk Council is now preparing a play sufficiency assessment as part of work on the Local Development Plan (LDP3). They want to hear people’s thoughts and views on the open spaces and play areas in their communities, through an online survey. The deadline for responses is Tuesday 28th November.
CSREC Islamophobia Awareness Month Workshops
The Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) is delivering Islamophobia awareness workshops, as part of their work for Islamophobia Awareness Month. The workshops cover multiple different topics to raise awareness of Islamophobia and reduce discrimination towards Muslim people in the workplace, help improve understanding of cultural differences, and dispel myths about Islam.

Falkirk Town Centre Golden Ticket Competition
The Falkirk Town Centre Golden Ticket Competition is back for 2023. Organised by Falkirk Delivers, for every purchase of £10 or more at participating businesses in Falkirk Town Centre, people will receive a Golden Ticket until Friday 22nd December. The Golden Ticket draws take place every Friday at 1pm.
