Growing Your Own Food From Scraps Event with RVS Forth Valley
Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) Forth Valley’s “First Time for Everything” Project is holding a free “Growing Your Own Food From Scraps” event on Thursday 22nd February, 4pm – 6pm, in collaboration with Transition Stirling. Taking place at Transition Stirling’s office, 5 Wellgreen Lane, Stirling, FK8 2BS, participants will learn to grow food from scraps.
SIS Customers Access to Third Sector Lab Resources
Social Investment Scotland (SIS) (who will be attending Falkirk Funders Fayre in March!) has teamed up with Third Sector Lab to enhance the digital skills of Scotland’s social enterprises. Social enterprises which are customers of SIS will have free access to Third Sector Lab’s annual online training programme, The Curve, until the end of 2024.
UnLtd Grants and Business Support Available
UnLtd grants and business support are available to social entrepreneurs who are looking to start or grow an existing social venture, through 2 funding streams: Starting Up (grants of up to £8,000 for social businesses not yet established, or which have been running for less than one year) and Scaling Up (grants of up to £18,000 to grow an existing social enterprise which has been operating one – 4 years). The next application deadline is Sunday 31st March.
