Volunteering Support Fund: Applications Open
Impact Funding Partners is now welcoming applications for the Volunteering Support Fund. The fund supports small- to medium-sized third sector organisations across Scotland to recruit additional volunteers for the delivery of a new, or the expansion of an existing, volunteering project. The deadline for applications is Monday 25 August 2025, with decisions issued from Friday 31 October 2025.
Action Earth Grants Programme
Through its Action Earth Grants programme, Volunteering Matters is offering grants of up to £250 to volunteer groups across Scotland for environmental projects which enhance local green spaces. Eligible activities include creating or improving community gardens, wildflower meadows, ponds, woodlands, and other wildlife habitats.
Arnold Clark Community Fund Cost of Living Support
The Arnold Clark Community Fund aims to help registered UK charities and community groups, working within 50 miles of an Arnold Clark branch, to build stronger communities across the UK. Funding will be available a rolling monthly basis. However, groups are advised to apply as soon as possible, as applications could be paused due to high demand.
The DWF Foundation Grants
The DWF Foundation provides grants to registered charities supporting homelessness, health, education, employability, the environment, and community wellbeing. The Foundation does not have a minimum grant size, but the majority of grants will fall under £5,000. The next deadline for 2025 submissions is Tuesday 30 September 2025, for consideration in December.
Thomas Wall Trust Grants
The Thomas Wall Trust is offering grants of up to £5,000 to registered UK charities supporting disadvantaged adults (aged 18 years old and over) in developing communication skills which enhance employment prospects. Applications follow a 2 stage process, with the deadline for Stage 1 submissions set for Monday 22 September 2025
Firstport Community Enterprise Fund
The Community Enterprise Fund offers grants of up to £5000, to be spent over six months, to help community organisations to start trading or set up social enterprises in Scotland. An open, rolling programme, to apply for the Community Enterprise Fund, you must first be registered within the Firstport Application Portal.
Alpkit Foundation Grants of up to £500 for Outdoor Activity Projects (UK)
Grants of up to £500 are available for individuals, community groups, schools, and other not-for-profit organisations to encourage people across the UK to get involved with outdoor activities and experiences. The funding is provided by the Alpkit Foundation, which aims to break down barriers to outdoor participation.
LNER Customer & Community Investment Fund 2025
LNER’s Customer & Community Investment Fund (the CCIF Fund) works to support charities and causes along their route. It provides vital funding to small and medium sized projects that deliver a positive impact. Now open for 2025 applications, groups can apply for up to £10,000 – with preference given to small and medium charities. Projects must be finished within a 12-month funding period starting in April 2026. Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm on Monday 25 August 2025.
The ASFT Fund – Foundation Scotland
The ASFT Fund has been established to support organisations across Scotland, awarding grants of up to £15,000 for one year. To be eligible for this fund, your project must meet at least one of the fund priorities: educational and learning projects, creative and performance arts, responding to the effects of poor physical and mental health, and poverty, older people, and increasing participation in sport.
