“New Laws on Disclosure and Safeguarding” Online Session
As many will be aware, The Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 comes into force from April 2025. In order to help charities and third sector groups understand the changes and what this means for them. The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), Volunteer Scotland and Disclosure Scotland are holding an online session “New laws on disclosure and safeguarding: make sure you’re ready” at 2pm on Wednesday 4th December 2024.

Research Survey: Call for Volunteer Participants
Dr. Parichehr Riahi Pour, Lecturer in Marketing, and Professor Cleopatra Veloutsou from the University of Glasgow are researching volunteers, their underlying motives for volunteering, and their contributions to charity and third sector organisations. The purpose of the study is to develop knowledge on volunteers and third sector/charity brands, and they are seeking active volunteers to complete an online survey.
