Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership are seeking new service user representatives to volunteer as part of the Integration Joint Board for a 3 year period. The Board plans and oversees many local health and social care services, with the goal to achieve the priorities set out in the Partnership’s Strategic Plan 2023 – 2026.
Open to individuals, 18 years of age and above, with experience of accessing local health and social care services, this is your chance to share your perspective and make a difference. Relevant experience and skills include:
- Experience of being on a committee or board.
- Working or volunteering for a charity, health board, local council or private sector.
- Listening to and representing different views (even if they are different from your own).
- Good communication and personal skills.
Board members take part in induction and training sessions, help with consultations, and attend six Board meetings and six development sessions a year.
Applications are open until 21 April – with interested candidates asked to send a short 400 word statement explaining why they are interested and what skills and experience they will bring to the role.
