Cash4Clubs Grants for Community Sports
Community sports clubs across the UK can now apply for unrestricted grants of £2,000 through the Cash4Clubs programme, aimed at enhancing sustainability and access to local sport. Funded by Flutter Entertainment and delivered by Sported, the initiative supports adult-only clubs (ie. for those aged 18 years old and over) with costs such as venue hire, coaching, equipment, volunteer expenses, training, insurance, and marketing. Applications close on Monday 8 December 2025.
The Fore Spring 2026 Round Opening for Registrations
The Fore’s Spring 2026 Funding Round offers unrestricted grants of up to £45,000 to help small charities and social enterprises develop, grow or become more sustainable. Organisations must register interest via the Apply for Funding page when registration opens at 12pm on Wednesday 26 November 2025. Registrations will be open for one week, until 12pm on Wednesday 3 December 2025. To support organisations to apply for this funding, The Fore are hosting an online Q&A session on Wednesday 26 November 2025, 12pm – 1pm.
Inspiring Scotland and Changing Ideas: Call for Campaign Ideas
Grants of up to £10,000 are available to support Scottish registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), and incorporated bodies in addressing social injustices. Inspiring Scotland, in partnership with Changing Ideas, is launching a Call for Campaign Ideas to fund early-stage, small-scale or grassroots campaigning projects. Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 21 November 2025.
Consultation on Future of Council Tax in Scotland
Scottish Government and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) are seeking people’s views on the future of council tax in Scotland, via an online consultation. The consultation is looking for input on how Scotland’s council tax system could be made fairer and more up to date. The findings from this consultation, together with the wider programme of engagement, will help support informed public debate and further consideration in the Scottish Parliament. The deadline for responses is Friday 30 January 2026.
Draft Climate Change Plan Consultation
Scottish Government has published its Draft Climate Change Plan for 2026–2040, setting out proposals to cut emissions and accelerate the transition to a net-zero Scotland, and has now opened an online consultation for people to share their views. The closing date for this consultation is Thursday 29 January 2026.
