Recyke-a-bike has received funding as part of Scotland’s Cycle Repair Scheme, funded by Scottish Government and managed by Cycling UK. They are inviting people who need their bikes repaired or serviced, to take them to their premises.

Cyrenians YAS Service Launched
Cyrenians has launched their new Young Adult Service (YAS), designed specifically to work with young people across the Falkirk and District area. YAS is open to young people aged 16 – 24 years old (26 years old if care experienced), living in the Falkirk and District area.
Single Parent Poverty Awareness Webinars
One Parent Families Scotland (OPFS) is hosting free webinar sessions to help practitioners learn more about poverty in Scotland, the impact on single parents and their families, and how attendees can make a difference to the lives of single parent families throughout Scotland. The webinars are open to those working with or alongside single parents and their families, and take place throughout February and March.
The Barracks Conference Centre Breakfast Event
The Robertson Trust will hold a breakfast event on Tuesday 31st January at The Barracks Conference Centre, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ. They invite organisations from the Forth Valley area to join them between 8am – 10am, with an official welcome taking place at 9am.
Office Furniture Available for Third Sector
Central Advocacy Partners has free office furniture available to donate to other charities and third sector groups. There are 3 curved desks, 4 rectangle desks, under storage pedestals, and 4 filing cabinets, along with a stationery cupboard. Items need to be collected week commencing Monday 30th January.
FREE Grangemouth Saturday Lunch Club
The FREE Grangemouth Saturday Lunch Club takes place every Saturday, 12pm – 2pm, based within Christ the King Church, 198 Bowhouse Road, Grangemouth, FK3 0HB (though is not connected to the church). The club offers free soup, sandwiches, hot drinks, cakes, and biscuits, is open to anyone in the community, whether they are in need of a meal, a warm space, a little bit of company, or somewhere to meet up with friends.

New Blue Badge LEZ Exemptions Website: Testers Needed
Transport Scotland is in the process of preparing to beta test the new website which will be used by Blue Badge holders to apply for their exemptions to Low Emission Zones (LEZ), alongside a telephone system. They are looking for system testers who are either Blue Badge holders, someone who would apply on another person’s behalf, or Blue Badge holding organisations.
