The position is part-time at 21 hours per week, with a salary of £22,940 per annum (pro rata), and a 2 year contract. Fully Funded Lasting Leadership Training for Community Leaders
CVS Falkirk is pleased to offer the opportunity to attend a fully funded Lasting Leadership training programme taking place in February and March 2023. The training is aimed at third sector groups and organisations, and individuals, involved community leadership roles, and is designed to cover topics for personal development. The training will be delivered by Jen Curran from The Lasting Difference team. Participants must commit to attending both days of each Cohort Session.

NHS Forth Valley Public Participation Group Event
NHS Forth Valley is looking for local people to join the Public Participation Group and help take forward changes and improvements at Forth Valley Royal Hospital over the next 3 months. They are holding a conversation event, “Help Us Improve Local Health Services”, on Tuesday 21st February from 6pm, at the Spiritual Care Centre on the ground floor of Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Community Choices Public Voting Open
Public voting is now open for the third round of the Community Choices programme. Over 60 local groups, organisations and clubs have submitted ideas for funding to improve their areas, which local people can now vote for. Voting closes on Friday 24th February.
Falkirk Council Fuel Poverty Online Survey
Falkirk Council wants to hear from third sector groups and organisations who provide support people impacted by fuel poverty in communities across Falkirk and District, about who is being most affected by fuel poverty and what can be done locally to address this issue. To gather feedback from the local sector, they have launched a new online survey. The deadline for responses is Wednesday 8th March.
Falkirk Council to Revoke Falkirk Town Centre AQMA
Falkirk Council has announced their intention to revoke the Falkirk Town Centre Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) for particulate matter (PM10) only, exercising powers conferred upon it by Section 83(1) of the UK Environment Act 1995. Comments on the proposal are now invited. The deadline for comments is Wednesday 1st March.

Scottish Parliament’s Social Justice and Social Security Committee has issued a call for written views on the Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Bill, with the third sector invited to respond. The deadline for all responses is Friday 3rd February.
