The fourth iteration of the Just Enterprise programme was officially launched last month, thanks to Scottish Government funding. Over the next 4 years, Just Enterprise (a partnership of 12 Scottish social enterprise support organisations) aims to help the social enterprise sector build financial resilience and grow, through delivering tailored support and learning opportunities.

Cash-First Fund Opening Soon
Scottish Government’s Cash-First Fund (CFF) will open for applications on Monday 31st July, with information sessions taking place on Monday 24th July and Wednesday 26th July, via Teams. The fund will be open to applications from local areas who want to test approaches which accelerate their action to tackle food insecurity.
Whole Family Wellbeing Fund in Falkirk: Closing Soon

Summer School Holiday Food and Activities Fund: Successful Recipients
Falkirk Council has announced the successful recipients of the 2023 Summer School Holiday Food and Activities Fund. Through the funded projects, children can access free summer holiday activities provided by community and third sector groups and organisations, local sports groups and libraries, amongst others.
2023 CARES Conference
This year’s Community Action on Renewable Energy conference (CARES) takes place on Tuesday 19th September at the DoubleTree by Hilton in central Glasgow. The 2023 conference will look at how more communities can take action on renewable energy, from decarbonising community buildings through to taking shared ownership in windfarms.
More Than Fibro Falkirk Group: Donated Items Needed
More Than Fibro’s Falkirk Peer Support Group has secured a stall at Falkirk Charities Day 2023, which takes place on Saturday 12th August, 12pm – 4pm in Falkirk town centre. They will be running a tombola throughout the event to raise funds for the group, and are looking for donated items to give as prizes.
Limerigg Community Fun Day
Limerigg Action Group is holding their first Community Fun Day! Supported by our team at CVS Falkirk and Foundation Scotland, the FREE fun day will take place on Saturday 29th July 12pm – 3pm, at Limerigg Community Centre. There will be lots of fun activities and stalls on the day, including a fire engine, a bouncy castle, face painting, a candy floss machine, soft archery, and much, much more!
Central Wellbeing New Premises Open Day
Central Wellbeing SCIO is holding an open day on Friday 21st July 10am – 12pm at their new premises, 5 Manse Place (next to Falkirk Trinity Church), Falkirk, FK1 1JN. As well as showcasing their new premises, the Central Wellbeing team will be available to chat with attendees about the work they are undertaking.
