2026 Healthy Heart Scotland Grant
Heart Research UK has announced the launch of its 2026 Healthy Heart Grant for Scotland, offering up to £15,000 per project to support innovative, community-led projects which promote heart health and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 8 July 2026.
Falkirk Council Community Benefit Requests
Falkirk Council’s Community Benefit Requests process provides an opportunity for local community groups, charities and third sector organisations to access practical support from contractors linked to council‑awarded contracts. The Community Benefit Request process will open to applications at 12:30pm on Monday 15 June 2026.
Self Harm Awareness Training Session
Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership is holding a free, full day Self Harm Awareness training session, taking place in person next Wednesday 17 June 2026. The training is aimed at individuals who work with young people facing inequalities, or who support young people who self harm, and is designed to increase knowledge of the issues surrounding self harm, and equip attendees with the skills to support people who self harm.
SCYAP Summer Activities for Young People
In addition to the Twilight Sports summer programme, Safer Communities Youth Action Project (SCYAP) is running a group for young people aged 10 – 12 years old, which will focus on community safety, community involvement, and personal development. The group will run throughout the school summer holidays, beginning on Tuesday 16 June 2026 from 7pm at Tamfourhill Community Hub, Machrie Court, Tamfourhill, FK1 4SD.
