Sporting Chance Programme: May Referrals Open
Link Academy (part of the Link Group) has announced that its Sporting Chance Programme (in partnership with Falkirk Foundation) will be running during May for young people aged 16 – 25 years old, beginning on Wednesday 13 May 2026. Based at McKinven House, George Street, Falkirk, FK2 7EY, the 13 week course will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am – 3pm.

Scotland’s Regeneration Forum (SURF) is hosting a series of free to attend SURF Awards Shared Learning Workshops in May: “Removing Barriers to Employability”: Thursday 7 May 2026 in Edinburgh; “Housing-Led Regeneration Initiatives”: Thursday 14 May 2026 in Edinburgh; “Place-Based Regeneration Approaches”: Thursday 21 May 2026 in Govan; “Taking a Creative Approach to Regeneration”: Thursday 28 May 2026 in Glasgow.
Community Games Session at Strathcarron Hospice
The Compassionate Communities team at Strathcarron Hospice is hosting a Community Games Session, as part of Demystifying Death Week (which runs Monday 4 May 2026 – Sunday 10 May 2026). The Community Games Session will take place at Strathcarron Hospice in Denny on Thursday 7 May 2026, bringing people together to take part in a range of interactive activities, including an escape room–style experience and games developed by Glasgow School of Art.
