First 4 Kids Summer Holiday Club
First 4 Kids has launched its Summer Holiday Club bookings, which are open to all school-aged children, whether they attend First 4 Kids childcare during term-time or not. The club will take place on weekdays during the school holidays, running Monday 29 June 2026 – Tuesday 11 August 2026, 8am – 6pm, at the Tryst Community Centre in Stenhousemuir.
RISE Forth Valley Summer Programme
RISE Forth Valley’s Summer Programme will run Monday 29 June 2026 – Saturday 25 July 2026, featuring a series of free activities across the four weeks (along with the occasional paid trip). The programme is open to all children and young people aged 5 – 18 years old who live in Forth Valley, with activities split for primary and secondary school children.
Volunteers’ Week 2026 Blog Series
In case you missed it, for Volunteers’ Week this year, we published a series of blogs exploring the stories of those making a difference across the district and beyond. Through this series, we aimed to highlight the impact we see on a daily basis – as well as what volunteering can do for you!
Grants for Community Photography Projects
Via its Grants for Community Photography Projects, the Richard and Siobhan Coward Foundation is offering grants of £500 – £1,500 to support participatory photography projects aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people under 25 years old across the UK. The programme funds projects where photography is a core element. Activities must provide hands-on experience of photographic techniques. The current funding round closes on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
