The Forte Charitable Foundation offers a rolling programme of small grants to support charities and not for profit organisations delivering frontline services to people experiencing disadvantage across the UK. The programme is designed to help organisations meet core and running costs, reflecting the Foundation’s recognition that sustainable community support relies on strong, well‑resourced local groups.
Theatres Trust’s Small Grants Programme
Theatres Trust’s Small Grants Programme, supported by The Linbury Trust, funds small projects which make a big impact to a theatre’s resilience, sustainability, accessibility, or improving the diversity of audiences. This scheme provides grants of up to £7,500 for essential works to enable not for profit theatres across the UK to be viable and thrive in the future. The application deadline is 12pm on Friday 26 June 2026.
Barclays Access Grants via Community Support Fund
Barclays Access Grants are now available via its Community Sports Fund, to support community organisations working to increase participation in football, tennis and cricket for women and girls across the UK. The programme is designed to address long‑standing inequalities in sport by widening access for underrepresented groups, and creating more inclusive opportunities at a local level. Applications close on Wednesday 27 May 2026.
PREVENT Programme Awareness Sessions
Staff and volunteers across Falkirk District are invited to attend awareness sessions on the UK Government’s PREVENT programme, taking place on: Tuesday 5 May 2026: 10am – 11:30am and 1pm – 2:30pm; Wednesday 24 June 2026: 10am – 11:30am and 1pm – 2:30pm. The sessions will be delivered by Abi Kyle, Home Office Prevent Advisor for Scotland, and will include dedicated time for questions and discussion, lasting approximately 90 minutes each.
