The Leeds Building Society Foundation grants provide funding to projects which “support those in need of a safe and secure home”.

The Foundation’s Small Grants are available to registered charities operating across the UK (with a turnover of less than £500,000), and accepts applications for core, project or capital costs. The grants are designed to be flexible, allowing organisations to apply for what exactly they need help with.

Grants of up to £2,500 are available; the average grant period for a small grant is between six months to a year. Funding is available throughout the year, with quarterly meetings to determine awards.

The next Small Grants deadline for applications is Monday 7 September 2026.
