Living Wage Scotland is looking to hear from people working in social care in Scotland, as part of a project looking at improving job quality and promoting fair work in the sector, via a new online survey.

The survey is part of Pathways to Progress, a three year project focused on fair work in Scotland’s social care sector, delivered by Living Wage Scotland (part of the Poverty Alliance) and funded by the Robertson Trust. The project is aimed at improving job quality in social care, and strengthening understanding of the challenges facing employers and employees within the sector implementing fair work principles.

The Living Wage Scotland team is also keen to understand the ways in which the Living Wage accreditation process, especially for Living Hours accreditation, can be strengthened to ensure it provides a helpful lever for change.

The survey is completely anonymous, and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The team is particularly keen to hear from people working in social care in rural areas and island communities, as well as in urban areas.
