Police Scotland’s Cybercrime Prevention team has released the June 2026 edition of Cyberbyte, their cybersecurity newsletter. June’s edition focuses on tips to help people keep their accounts and devices safe when on holiday, such as being cautious about oversharing locations if away from home, fake WiFi awareness, the advantages to using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and 2 Step Verification (2SV) for devices.

Falkirk Council’s Community Advice Services offer free, confidential and impartial support for people living in the Falkirk District area who are worried about money, benefits, rent, council tax, or other financial pressures. These services are designed to help people understand their options and access the right help for their situation, and include Debt Advice, Welfare Benefits, and Advice and Support Hubs.
Beauty Training Opportunity in Limerigg and Slamannan
Community Wellbeing & Education CIC has opportunities for young people in Limerigg and Slamannan to train as a make-up artist and nail technician. Participants must be aged 16 – 24 years old, and live in the Limerigg or Slamannan villages. In addition to learning how to provide make-up and eye treatments, gel polish and builder gel nails, participants will also be able to develop their CV and their interview skills.
