Falkirk Council has launched their new £300,000 grant programme designed to support community groups and third sector organisations. The Community Empowerment Fund (part of the broader Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF)) is a community capacity building initiative, aiming to boost local projects across the Falkirk area. FEL is launching a new project, Spark the Change, which has set out to help community organisations across Falkirk District reach any goals they might have regarding the energy consumption of buildings, their food growing potential, or similar climate-based objectives.

The Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) is recruiting an Impact and Evaluation Lead. The position is 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £31,664 – £35,798 per annum, and a permanent contract, based at home. The successful candidate will work with the SRN team and partner to embed evaluation across their work programme. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 29th September.
