Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre is recruiting a Carer Support Worker.

The position is 35 hours per week, with a salary of £26,623 per annum, focusing on adult carers across the Falkirk area.

Carer Support Workers deliver information, support and involvement services for carers of all ages across Falkirk District and Clackmannanshire. The postholder will work closely with carers and network partners to offer support, and information specifically to adult carers across the Falkirk area. They will engage with carers, encouraging them to take up their right to have an Adult Carer Support Plan, and become actively involved in local and national forums and groups to have their views and opinions heard.

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and motivated, have good interpersonal skills and the ability to use their own initiative whilst contributing effectively within a team.

The deadline for applications is this coming Monday 4^th September. Interviews will be held week commencing Monday 11^th September.
