Tickets are now available for the Social Enterprise Policy and Practice Conference 2023, taking place on Thursday 26th October, 12:30pm – 5pm, via a hybrid approach, with the in-person event held at the Greyfriars Charteris Centre, 138 – 140 Pleasance, Edinburgh, EH8 9RR.
Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Fair Work and Energy, Neil Gray MSP, will deliver the keynote speech, followed by a range of speakers, workshops, and opportunities to network with those in the social enterprise community from across Scotland.
Organised by Social Enterprise Scotland (SES), this year’s Conference Agenda will focus on the Social Enterprise Action Plan 2021 – 2024, which supports Scotland’s Social Enterprise Strategy 2016 – 2026. This also relates to emerging policy relating to Community Wealth Building (CWB), and the recent move of social enterprise support from Scottish Government’s Third Sector Unit to their Wellbeing Economy Division.
Discussion topics will include Fair Work, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Net Zero, and Social Impact, with in-person as well as online discussions, live polling, Q&A opportunities, and keynote presentations.
Tickets are expected to be booked quickly, and range from free (for the online event livestreamed on Zoom), to:
- £45 + VAT for SES members
- £50 + VAT for SES supporting members
- £75 + VAT for non-members
All in-person tickets are limited to a maximum of 2 per organisation.
