They will be holding an in-person workshop on industrial decarbonisation, for residents and other interested parties, on Thursday 2nd November, 4pm – 7pm at Grangemouth Town Hall, 27 Bo’ness Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8AN.

British Science Week 2024 Community Grants
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is providing funds to distribute community grants of £500 and £1000 for community groups and organisations to run events during British Science Week 2024, which will take place from Friday 8th March – Sunday 17th March. The latest round of the Community Choices programme is now live and open for project idea submissions. Falkirk Council has organised free information sessions to help local people and community groups learn more about how Community Choices works. McCarthy Stone Foundation Christmas Connections Grants
The McCarthy Stone Foundation is offering 30 grants of up to £1,000 each to support local groups that are organising events and activities for people over the 65 years old, during the festive period (Friday 1st December 2023 – Tuesday 2nd January 2024). No deadline has been specified, but as the amount of funding is restricted, groups are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
