The FDAMH Training Academy is holding free online COSCA Counselling Skills open days on Thursday 27th May, 6:30pm – 7:30pm and Saturday 29th May, 11am – 12pm, via Zoom. The events aim to provide insight and information on their COSCA Counselling Skills course. Attendees will be able to ask questions of the course co-ordinator and the trainer, who will also discuss the course application process and payment options available.

COVID-19 Protection Levels Update: Moray and Glasgow City
The First Minister later announced on Friday 21st May that the Glasgow City local council area would remain at Level 3, due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases. As a result, people in Falkirk and the wider Forth Valley area (which have entered Level 2) must not travel to or from this areas, unless for essential reasons (including work and caring responsibilities). Scottish Government is expected to review these measures this week.
P4P Introduction to Collaboration Workshop
Partnership for Procurement (P4P) has announced a new online “Introduction to Collaboration” workshop on Thursday 27th May, 10am – 12pm. The workshop aims to provide an opportunity to learn about the benefits and challenges of collaboration, joint tendering and consortium models. The workshop is free to attend, but spaces are limited and booking is essential.
Off the Bench Programme: Referrals Open
Off the Bench is a 16 week (one day per week) programme for young people aged 18 – 24 year olds who have committed or are likely to commit offences, or engage in anti-social behaviour. The programme begins on Wednesday 9th June, with a deadline for referrals of Wednesday 2nd June. Please note that all referrals must be submitted by an organisation (including public and third sector groups and organisations), as self-referral is not possible for the young person.
Discover Digital Engagement Grants
The ALLIANCE’s Digital Health and Care team is inviting third sector groups and organisations across Scotland to get involved in planning the next stages of Discover Digital. To help with this, they have reopened their small fund for grants of up to £1,750. The grant aims to enable the third sector to carry out engagement around the information and resources needed for wider awareness, understanding and uptake of digital wellbeing, health and care tools. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 24th May.
