On Friday 14th May, Scottish Government announced that the Moray and Glasgow City local council areas would remain at Level 3, due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in both areas.
The First Minister later announced on Friday 21st May that, while Moray would enter Level 2 the next day, Glasgow City would still remain at Level 3.
As a result, people in Falkirk and the wider Forth Valley area (which have entered Level 2) must not travel to or from the Glasgow City area, unless for essential reasons (including work and caring responsibilities).
Everyone Glasgow is encouraged to get tested (with guidance available), as around one in 3 people with COVID-19 do not have symptoms. Testing is free and results are available in around 30 minutes. Additionally, Local Restrictions Grant funding is available to eligible businesses in these areas.
Scottish Government is expected to review these measures this week.
