This Pride month, the Equality Network is offering free online “Introduction to Fundraising for LGBTI Groups” sessions on Tuesday 22nd June and Tuesday 29th June (both 6pm – 9pm), which will cover the basics of fundraising for groups engaging with LGBTQI people. The sessions are specifically designed for groups new to fundraising.

Self Management Awards 2021: Open for Nominations
The Self Management Awards 2021 are now open for nominations. This year, the categories include Local Self Management Project of the Year, Self Management Champion of the Year, Individual Transformational Story of the Year (in partnership with Humans of Scotland), and Digital Innovator Self Management Award (in partnership with Discover Digital). The deadline for nominations and applications is 12pm on Monday 21st June.
The Power in Our Communities Events
Outside the Box is holding an all-day online event, The Power in our Communities, on Tuesday 15th June, via Zoom. The day is divided into different sessions, with the morning session focusing on Celebrating Community, taking place 9:30am – 12:30pm. This session is open to everyone, including people from communities, or working in community-based groups and organisations. The afternoon will feature 2 sessions: Working with Communities and Working with HSCPs.
Strathcarron Hospice Storytelling: Next Session
Strathcarron Hospice’s next online Storytelling session takes place on Tuesday 22nd June from 2pm, via Zoom. The sessions are designed to be relaxed and informal, providing some light relief from the current pandemic. They are open to everyone; you do not need to have a connection to the Hospice to attend.
Scottish Recovery Network Strategy and Peer2Peer Programme
Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) has launched its new 3 year Strategic Plan, outlining how they will work with others to create a recovery focused mental health system. In line with this, SRN has also launched the new Peer2Peer development programme. They are currently looking for groups, organisations and services in Scotland interested in developing peer support approaches to mental health and wellbeing, and are holding an online information session on Tuesday 22nd June, 1:30pm – 3pm, for those interested. The session is free, but places are limited; booking is essential, and closes on Thursday 17th June.
