Grangemouth Library launches their new Beauty Banks pilot this coming Monday 24 March 2025. Located in the foyer, the Beauty Bank pick-up point will be stocked with FREE toiletries for people who are in need to take as required. The Beauty Bank will be available every day Grangemouth Library is open, and will last as long as they have items to give out.

Volunteero and Myrtos Consultancy have published their Lunch and Learn recorded session, “Dispelling Fears and Misconceptions Around Volunteers with Criminal Records”. The session aims to give volunteer managers more confidence when it comes to recruiting volunteers who have a criminal record.
The Fore Summer 2025 Funding Round Opening Soon
The Fore’s Summer 2025 Funding Round will open soon for one week between Thursday 27 March – Thursday 3 April 2025. This round offers an unrestricted grant of up to £30,000, to be spread across 12 months – 3 years, alongside access to skills, networks and training. ASSIST Training for Trainers Residential Course
Public Health Scotland will be hosting an ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) Training for Trainers Course in April 2025. The ASIST T4T is a five-day residential course (accommodation and meals included), taking place Sunday 27 April 2025 – Friday 2 May 2025. The course is scheduled to take place at Stirling Management Centre at the University of Stirling. Please note, there are only 24 places available across Scotland. The closing date for application forms is Friday 28 March 2025 at 4pm.
Money Advice Scotland Financial Wellbeing Training
Money Advice Scotland is hosting 2 more sessions of their “Introduction to Financial Wellbeing” training for third sector practitioners. This free course is open to everyone, with a special focus on those in supportive roles who would benefit from feeling more confident in talking to their service users about money worries they may have. Sessions will be held on: Thursday 20 March, 9:30am – 12:30pm, and Monday 31 March, 9:30am – 12:30pm.

Scottish Government invites groups and individuals with an interest in Rural Scotland to complete their new online consultation: “Rural Delivery Plan: vision, strategic objectives and key performance indicators”. The deadline for responses is Monday 17 March 2025.
SFRS Wildfire Prevention Campaign
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is urging the public to be aware of wildfire risk this Spring, as figures show almost 80% of large outdoor fires since 2010 were recorded between March and May. Last week, they launched the Wildfire Prevention Campaign to highlight this risk and educate people how to behave responsibly when outdoors and how to keep safe.
Friends of Kinneil Annual James Watt Supper
The Friends of Kinneil is hosting their 15th annual James Watt Supper at The Corbie Inn, 84 Corbiehall, Bo’ness, EH51 0AS, on Thursday 27 March at 7pm. The annual supper consists of a 2 course meal, a raffle, and entertainment from the Bo’ness Belles. Both current members and non-members are welcome, and tickets are £20.
