Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has launched a consultation as part of its annual budget setting process. This includes an online survey (linked for your convenience), which asks for views on 2 proposals. Falkirk HSCP is also hosting information sessions in local libraries, with the next drop-ins taking place at: Falkirk Library on Tuesday 10 February 2026, 1:30pm – 3:30pm; Denny Library on Thursday 12 February 2026, 10:30am – 12:30pm. The deadline for responses to the online survey is Monday 16 February 2026.

Fully Funded March 2026 Friday Wellbeing Sessions
Pause and Breathe CIC has received multi-year funding from the Falkirk Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund to deliver Friday Wellbeing sessions over the next 2 years, including in March 2026, 10am – 11:30am. These free sessions are open to all adults, with a break for refreshments and informal connection. Sessions will be varied using a trauma‑informed approach, led by different facilitators, and a second facilitator available to offer support if needed. Advance booking is required.
New Jobs Guarantee Pilot Launched
The UK Government has launched the new Jobs Guarantee, which will provide a fully subsidised 6 month paid job to eligible young people aged 18 – 21 years old who have been on Universal Credit and looking for work for 18 months. Through the scheme, the government will fund 100% of eligible employment costs for 25 hours a week at the relevant minimum wage, alongside wrap-around support. Grants will be awarded in selected areas, including Central & East Scotland (which includes the Falkirk Council area). The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on Saturday 28 February 2026.
Dates-n-Mates Central Scotland Valentines Party
Dates-n-Mates Scotland is holding its Central Scotland Valentines Party on Thursday 12 February 2026, 7pm – 10pm at the Dobbie Hall, Main Street, Larbert, FK5 4BL. The event is open to people from across Falkirk District, Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire, both Dates-n-Mates members and non-members, and will feature music and dancing, plus Valentines gifts for sale. Tickets are £9.05 for members, £5 for supporters and carers, and £11.25 for non-members, and are available to book in advance, or at the door on the night.
