Future Woodlands Scotland is offering grant funding to support urban forestry projects across Scotland, with a focus on areas most in need of well-maintained trees and woodlands.
Funding is available for tree planting, long-term care, urban forestry management, education, and community engagement. Project development costs such as consultancy, staff time, and community engagement may also be supported.
Grants range from £2,000 to £100,000, with two tiers: up to £20,000 and over £20,000, usable over a three-year period. Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organisations, educational institutions, charities, development trusts, local authorities, and partnerships thereof.
Applications will open on Monday 24 November 2025 – with further information available in their Guidance Pack (linked for your convenience).
