Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre’s weekly “Care with Confidence (CWC)” sessions for unpaid carers return next Tuesday 23rd January, 10:30am – 12:30pm, with a Burns Lunch.
Tuesday’s session will also include interesting tales of Robert Burns from local historian Ian Scott, and an opportunity for carers to meet up after the holiday period. Other upcoming sessions include:
- Tuesday 30th January: “Dementia – Middle Stage Dementia”
- Tuesday 6th February: “Sensory Centre Digital Aids & Equipment”, with Forth Valley Sensory Centre
- Tuesday 13th February: “Bladder & Bowel Service (BABS) NHS Forth Valley”, with one of their Continence Nurse Specialists
Alongside their weekly CWC programme, the Carers Centre has also released the upcoming dates for their monthly CWC Dementia Information Sessions, aimed at unpaid carers looking after someone living with dementia and related conditions:
- Tuesday 30th January: “Dementia – Middle Stage Dementia”
- Tuesday 27th February: “Dementia and Sensory Changes – Part 1”
- Tuesday 26th March: “Dementia and Sensory Changes – Part 2”
All CWC sessions take place 10:30am – 12:30pm, and carers can attend any CWC via Zoom, or in-person at the Carers Centre, 1A Bank Street, Falkirk, FK1 1NB.
