The Triangle Trust supports organisations working with vulnerable people, and is currently focusing on improving outcomes for young women and girls affected by offending, exploitation and related disadvantage.
Trustees are looking to fund projects which are focused on young women and girls who already have a history of offending, or who are at high risk of registering a first offence.
They want to support work which specifically aims to reduce the likelihood of a young woman or girl either entering the criminal justice system, or of reoffending, and support them to move on positively with their lives.
Grants of £100,000 are available for projects lasting 18, 24, 30 or 36 months (with a maximum request of £50,000 per year) is available for work with girls aged 11 – 18 years old in the following areas:
- county lines and gangs
- the care system
- school exclusions
- at risk of exclusion from education
- excluded from education
Projects will need to demonstrate age, gender, trauma, and culturally responsive approaches to working with young women and girls. The Trust is particularly interested in supporting work which provides peer support from women with their own lived experience, and projects that can demonstrate that they have been co-designed with the voices of young women and girls.
The Triangle Trust will only consider applications from two types of organisations:
- organisations led by and for women and girls
- organisations which can demonstrate that they are “issue experts” in the areas of work listed above
Trustees particularly welcome applications from groups in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales.
Applicants must have an annual income of no more than £5 million, independently examined or audited accounts, and relevant experience of working with girls in the criminal justice system through gender- and trauma-informed practice.
Applications follow a staged process beginning with an eligibility check and Expression of Interest (EOI). Shortlisted organisations will then be invited to submit a full application, followed by an assessment visit or Zoom call.
The deadline for submitting an EOI form is Thursday 21 May 2026.
