The Sackler Trust is an independent UK charitable trust which supports registered charities working to improve quality of life and opportunity across a wide range of causes.
The Trust provides funding for a broad range of charitable projects and activities. Applications are welcomed from charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) who can demonstrate a clear rationale for support in areas including social good, education, the arts, science, the environment and local heritage. Funded projects should show a clear charitable purpose and deliver measurable public benefit.
Previous grantees have included Veteran’s Aid, Waterlife Recovery Trust, and Reflections CIC.
The Sackler Trust operates an open application programme, meaning organisations can apply at a time that suits their project or activity, rather than working to fixed deadlines. Applications should be no more than two pages in length and submitted by email directly to the Trust. Grant decisions are typically informed by an assessment of organisational need, anticipated impact, and long-term sustainability.
Organisations considering an application are strongly encouraged to review the Trust’s guidance in full (linked for your convenience) before applying.
