FEL Scotland is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to its “Our Future, Our Say Climate Change Plan Consultation Fund”.
Scottish Government is inviting public responses to its Draft Climate Change Plan 2026 – 2040. The draft plan has been developed to include principles of a Just Transition at its core. FEL Scotland’s fund is designed to enable communities who may be at greater risk from the impacts of climate change to make their voices heard as part of the consultation.
The fund will cover costs of hosting events which brings people together to discuss and respond to the draft Climate Change plan. In addition, participants in these events will be given a supermarket voucher worth £35 as a thank you for their time.
FEL Scotland is inviting eligible groups and communities representing the following groups to submit an EOI to the fund in order to hold an event, and ensure their responses are included in the consultation:
- LGBTQIA+ people
- women and those of minority genders
- people from ethnic minority backgrounds
- people with disabilities
- New Scots
- children and young people
Grangemouth residents are also encouraged to apply to the fund as a priority group, and make their voice heard on the draft plan.
Groups successful in gaining funding for their event will be supported with a resource pack and tips on delivering their event. FEL Scotland has estimated a maximum allocation of 15 vouchers per consultation event; groups should indicate in their EOI if they anticipate requiring more than 15, so this can be considered.
The draft plan consultation closes to new responses on Sunday 23 January 2026; all events must take place before this, and all responses gathered from events submitted before the deadline.
To submit an EOI, or for further information, please complete the online form (linked for your convenience).
